The Jewish Heritage Center
of Queens and Long Island
Bringing the beauty and relevancy of Torah to Jews of all backgrounds.
The mission of BASE27 is to enhance the physical, emotional and spiritual development of disenfranchised Youth. We provide safe environments where everyone feels loved and appreciated regardless of their actions and external appearance. Our goal is to help each individual that walks through the doors at BASE27 to develop the tools to live a healthy, productive and happy lifestyle.
Jewish Family Initiative
The mission of JFI is to connect the whole young Jewish families to a relevant, joyful and meaningful Judaism through exciting, interactive, and experiential educational and social opportunities for the entire Jewish family. In doing so, JFI has become a “community without walls” with a large hub of activities, programs and resources for young Jewish families in Nassau County.
Children's Learning Center
Our goal at the JFI’s Children’s Learning Center is to prove a warm and nurturing environment where preschool children can learn and grow. Through the development of motor abilities, thinking skills and healthy interactions with their peers the children will develop a healthy self-esteem, essential in preparing them for future schooling. Help support our efforts
At the Jewish Heritage Center we believe Judaism is relevant to everyone. Enduring and endearing, our heritage beautifies our lives, infuses meaning into every day, week and month, and brings us together as
one close-knit family. JHC is a non-profit organization serving the communities of Queens, Brooklyn, Long Island and beyond. Our primary focus is spreading the beauty and lasting joy of Torah to all Jews, regardless of background, affiliation or observance level. We have dedicated the past 3+ decades to share the contentment and fulfillment that comes with a life connected to Judaism and spirituality. Through engaging classes, innovative programming, and exciting social events, we empower our Jewish siblings to explore and embrace their rich heritage and identity.
